In recent years, we have seen a massive boom in supplement use as products that were once the preserve of specialist health food stores have become available alongside our groceries in the supermarket and on the internet.
But how to choose the right one?
Today, though, we want to cover a whole food powder which represents a quantum leap in the field of vegetarian nutrition.
It’s called Maximum Vibrance, and in case you haven’t guessed, it’s the super sibling of the aforementioned Green Vibrance.
But what makes Maximum Vibrance different?
MAXIMUM VIBRANCE vs. GREEN VIBRANCE
In many respects, these two products are very alike. Before we tackle the differences then, let’s cover the similarities of both products.
1/ 25 billion probiotics from 12 strains
2/ An array of vitamins and minerals
3/ A large number of ingredients from plant sources
4/ Digestive enzymes and source of fibre
Evidently both are multi-purpose supplements, able to provide a broad spectrum of phytonutrients from the plant world. However, there is one major difference and it is this: Maximum Vibrance is packed with plant protein.
While Green Vibrance provides excellent nutritional support, it is a purely greens supplement and cannot be classed as a meal replacement. Maximum Vibrance, however, can.
Maximum Vibrance delivers 20 grams of plant protein per serving, equating to 36% of the recommended intake for a man and 44% for a woman.
The protein derives from a combination of yellow pea, spirulina, chlorella and sprouted brown rice.
There are many plant protein powders on the market, but precious few high-protein greens supplements.
It is for this reason that Maximum Vibrance has been formulated, letting you work towards your daily fruit/veg intake while simultaneously reaching your protein requirement.
As we know, protein is essential for muscle recovery and growth; it’s also a great macronutrient if your goal is to burn fat.
COMPLETE VEGETARIAN NUTRITION + PROBIOTICS
Of course, if you only want a light pick-me-up between meals, you can always use one scoop instead of two.
In addition to plant protein, Maximum Vibrance trumps Green Vibrance from a nutritional standpoint, with higher levels of Vitamins A, C, E and K. It also contains twice as much calcium and selenium, three times as much iron and no less than six B vitamins to GV’s one.
Dubbed a ‘futurefood’ by creators Vibrant Health, the multi-supplement comes closer than any other product to being an ‘all-in-one’.
Indeed, the only major nutrients missing altogether are essential fats like omega-3, which are not yet stable in powdered form.
Incidentally, the 25 billion probiotics are the same as those in Green Vibrance and include well-researched strains like Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum.
Probiotics are useful for promoting a healthy balance of bacteria in your gut, with attendant benefits to digestive health and immune function.
HOW TO USE MAXIMUM VIBRANCE?
Maximum Vibrance is available in both Vanilla and Chocolate flavours, meaning it mightn’t work as well as Green Vibrance in natural fruit juice.
Because of the natural flavourings, Maximum Vibrance tastes great simply mixed with water or almond milk. It can also fortify a delicious vegetable or fruit smoothie or overnight oats.
Check out Vegetarian Department’s Apple Banana and Kiwi Berry Smoothie as well as delicious Berry Compote and Peanut Butter Overnight Oats both using Maximum Vibrance!
