The amount of positive health benefits in basil undoubtedly makes it the queen of herbs. Basil helps to fight bacteria and viruses, reliving stress and anxiety as well as providing physical stamina.

2 Leaves of Cavolo Nero (Black Kale)
1 Celery Stick
10 White Grapes
5cm Slice of Cucumber
Handful of Spinach
1. Put all the ingredients into a blender (I use NutriBullet) and blend until smooth and well combined.
2. I prefer to peel the pear but this is totally up to you.
3. Consume straight away before your breakfast on an empty stomach.
Initially, when I was working on this recipe, I wanted to use green tea for a liquid instead of water.
I thought it will be a great antioxidant to add to the detox juice,
however during some research I found out that it blocks out many vitamins and minerals,
and looses its own antioxidant qualities when paired with fruits and veggies.
Basically they become counterproductive and both cancel each other out.
